Quickly switch between solid, gradient, and pattern color effects. Apply opacity control separately to Fill and Stroke dialog boxes to achieve better control and precision. Change colors more quickly with the improved color swatch.

Create CSS sprites

Easily create CSS sprites from design comps. Mock up complete web pages and export layouts with external style sheets in one step.

Improved performance

Work smarter in a responsive environment with faster redraw in Mac OS. Improved memory management supports files up to four times larger on 64-bit Windows® systems.

  1. Dude, multicam editing is a huge pain. I’ve been doing it for event shoots and promos and interviews for ages now and I’ve sort of given up my social life for it. This - http://tv.adobe.com/watch/cs6-creative-cloud-feature-tour-for-video/expanded-multicam-editing-in-premiere-pro-cs6/?sdid=JYNXB makes multicam editing look like child’s play. I have to get this. NOW!

  4. There’s creativity in everyone and just because you don’t know how to draw or can’t sketch something beautiful, it doesn’t mean you can be a professional designers. I’ve been playing with illustrator, much like this - http://tv.adobe.com/watch/adobe-cs6-artist-series/customer-spotlight-adobe-alberto-seveso/?sdid=JYKZM and I’ve learned that there’s as much beauty in creating new designs using designs themselves as there is in drawing or painting or composing something from scratch.

  5. I started playing with InDesign CS3 as an amateur and sort of figured it out by myself over the past few years. Fortunately, the magazine I work for doesn’t need much more than page layouts so I managed without any real professional help. Recently when they decided to go digital I kinda shat myself. Fortunately this roadshow video - http://www.adobecs6vod.com?sdid=KABYU helped me learn a lot about interlinking, dynamic layouts and all that and basically gave me enough confidence to take on this new project head first!

  6. I run a website dev. company and I took a lot of time getting adjusted to the new features and managing to learn how to use them in Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. Fortunately, Adobe hosted this roadshow http://www.adobecs6vod.com?sdid=KABYU which taught us really well how to maximize the use of the features in the new CS6 suite. Definitely helped a lot!
