Adobe Photoshop Touch

What is Adobe Photoshop Touch?

The new Adobe® Photoshop® Touch app lets you quickly combine images, apply professional effects, share the results with friends and family through social networking sites like Facebook, and more — all from the convenience of your iPad or Android tablet.¹
Use powerful core Adobe® Photoshop® features that are designed for a tablet, as well as new capabilities specifically tailored for mobile design and social networking.¹

Layers

Combine multiple images with layers. Adjust layer order, control individual layer opacity, and move and manipulate layers independently.

Versatile image browsing and acquisition

Choose images from multiple sources, including social sites like Facebook, online image searches such as Google Image Search, or a live feed from your tablet's camera — all directly within Adobe Photoshop Touch.

Sharing through Facebook

Entertain friends and family by easily sharing your new images on Facebook. See their comments right in Adobe Photoshop Touch.

Interactive tutorials

Browse an inspirational gallery for the styles and results you'd like to achieve, and then follow step-by-step tutorial guides to easily learn techniques the pros use for great-looking results.

Selection tools

Scribble on the part of an image you want to keep, and then on the area you want to discard — Adobe Photoshop Touch magically does the rest. Other standard selection tools for extracting image elements are included.

Photoshop effects and filters

Apply popular Photoshop effects and filters to your entire composition, a particular layer, or a specific selection.

Filter brushes

Paint dazzling special effects onto your images using just your fingertip.

Edge-aware painting

Discover how precise painting with your fingers can be, using this option for auto-detecting where paint should stop. Easily add color or visual appeal right up to any object’s edge.

Refine Edge

Using just your fingertip, capture even hard-to-select image elements, like hair, with ease as you combine items from different photos.

Tone and color adjustment

Apply precise tone and color adjustments to your entire composition, a particular layer, or a specific selection.

Photoshop compatible file format

Start brainstorming and creating in Photoshop Touch, and then access your artwork through Adobe Creative Cloud for further refinement in Photoshop on your Mac or PC.² Requires a downloadable plug-in for  Photoshop CS5.

Integration with Adobe Creative Cloud

Easily access your files, or share with others, thanks to the ability to sync files to Adobe Creative Cloud.³

Text

Make your images pop with cool graphical text. Apply strokes, add drop shadows and fades, and more.

  2. I’m a photographer and I hate wide angle shots just because everything gets so distorted. My brother gifted me the Canon EF-S 10-22mm for my birthday and I haven’t really used it because I hate how it screws up the dimensions of everything. He showed me this video http://tv.adobe.com/watch/photoshop-cs6-featuretour/russell-brown-look-at-the-big-picture-with-adaptive-wide-angle-in-photoshop-cs6/?sdid=JYNWT because he was pissed off that I wasn’t using his gift and he even bought me the new photosohop CS6. This adaptive wide angle feature’s so freakin awesome! You can get the trial version from the Adobe site http://www.adobe.com/in/downloads/?sdid=JUMTN but trust me, make a small face and get someone to buy it for you,it’s totally worth more than just 30 days!

  5. I went through all the videos of all the new features in Adobe’s new software but it’s just a pain finding the right video when you need it. Instead of bookmarking all the links I found this one video which covers it all!
Check this out - http://www.adobecs6vod.com?sdid=KABYU. It’s pretty cool to see all the best-in-class tools of CS6 in one big video.

  7. I’ve been a big fan of Adobe’s software and often upgraded to the latest suites to keep up with the technology. This time around, I bought CS6 but there were just sooo many features that I couldn’t keep up with. I watched truck loads of demo videos for each individual software but remembering it all is pain. This roach show that they hosted http://www.adobecs6vod.com?sdid=KABYU was really helpful because it gives me all I need to know, in one simple palce!
